BetterCanvas is now BetterCampus

Same extension, same team, new name. If you had BetterCanvas, you already have BetterCampus — update it from your browser's extension store and everything carries over.
Why we changed it
Two reasons. Canvas is a trademark of the company behind the LMS, and building our name on theirs was never going to hold up. And by the time we looked at renaming, "BetterCanvas" had stopped describing what we do — the extension started as a way to re-theme Canvas and grew into a planner, a grade tracker, a notes and study system, and a set of focus tools.
What carries over
Your themes. Anything you made or installed in BetterCanvas is in BetterCampus.
Theming stays free, and still needs no account.
The extension itself. It's the same listing in the store, so an update is all you need — no reinstall, nothing to move across.
What's new since the rename
A full planner with recurring tasks and subtasks
Grade tracking, GPA calculation, and grade goals
AI-made flashcards and quizzes, and lecture transcription
Notes you can study from
Google and Microsoft calendar sync
A rebuilt theme engine

You might still see the old name
Plenty of places on the web still say BetterCanvas, and some sites use the old name while having nothing to do with us — see What BetterCampus does if you want the short version of who we are.
