Blocks
Updated 3 weeks ago
Blocks is a matching game. Pair each term with its definition, and the blocks clear off the board as you get them right.
How to play
Open a study set that has terms and questions in it.
Go to the Games area and choose Blocks.
Select a term and the definition that goes with it.
Correct pairs clear from the board. Keep going until it's empty.
What it's good for
Blocks rewards recognizing a definition rather than producing it from memory, so it's a gentler first pass than flashcards. Use it when the material is new and you're still learning what the terms mean.
The other games
Match — a memory game, harder once you know the material
Blast — fast recall against a clock
Charms — a puzzle game with no time pressure
All four run on a study set — see About study sets to build one.
