Free vs Pro
Updated 2 months ago
BetterCampus is free to use. Pro removes the limits on themes, study tools, AI notes, and grade tracking.
What it costs
Free is $0. Pro is $19 a month, or $119 a year ā going yearly is close to 50% off twelve monthly payments.
Pro starts with a 7-day free trial. If a friend refers you, you get 14 days instead ā see Invite friends, earn Pro.
What Free gives you
Themes ā use any community theme and swap as often as you like. Make 3 of your own and remix 3 more.
Planner ā see all your assignments, add your own tasks, and drag them onto a day.
Study sets ā make as many as you want, and practice with flashcards, quizzes, and games without limit.
Notes ā up to 1 GB. 150 minutes of AI transcription a month, up to 50 minutes per class.
Grades ā grade trends, a class-level GPA calculator, and one grade goal.
What Pro adds
Unlimited themes ā make and remix as many as you want, and get faster review when you share one.
Calendar sync ā your assignments show up in Google Calendar or Outlook, and events from there show up in BetterCampus.
Planning at specific times ā drag a task onto an exact time slot, and plan more than one work session for the same task.
Unlimited AI items ā build terms and questions with AI as often as you need.
Bigger uploads ā 25 MB files, unlimited files per set, unlimited chat with your files.
Unlimited notes and transcription ā record up to 4 hours per class and tidy up messy notes with Smart Notes.
Custom grade goals ā set a goal for every class and see what you need on each assignment.
Everything else ā study playlists, custom timers, breathing breaks, and motivation quotes.
How study set limits work
Making study sets and practicing them is unlimited on both plans. Run flashcards, quizzes, and games as many times as you like.
The limit is on making the items ā the terms and questions inside a set. Typing them in yourself is unlimited on both plans. Making them with AI is capped at 3 a month on Free, and unlimited on Pro.
