What BetterCampus does
Updated 4 days ago
BetterCampus makes school more fun. It's a free browser extension that lets you customize your school's system, and adds productivity tools on top — built from the classes, assignments, and grades already in there. It also runs as a standalone web app at app.bettercampus.com, where you can bring your classes in with a school calendar link or add them by hand.
It works with Canvas, Google Classroom, Brightspace, Blackboard, and Moodle.
Make your school's system yours
School platforms are built to be functional, not to be somewhere you want to spend eight hours a day. BetterCampus lets you change that.
Themes — dark mode and thousands of looks made by other students. See Swap your theme.
Your own designs — pick your colors, fonts, card visuals, and cursors, and share what you make. See Create a theme or Remix a theme.
Stickers — put images anywhere on the page. See Add stickers to your pages.
Tools built on what your school already knows
Your classes, assignments, due dates, and grades are already in your school's system. BetterCampus reads them and builds things your school platform doesn't. Classes that aren't in your school platform work too: add them by hand or import them from a school calendar link — see Use BetterCampus without the extension and Add a school calendar feed.
Plan your work
Every assignment from every class in one Planner. Drag them onto a calendar to decide when you'll actually do the work, and sync it to Google Calendar or Outlook.
See About the Planner and To-Do List.
Track your grades
Trends over time, grade goals for each class, and a what-if calculator that answers "what do I need on the final?"
See View your grades.
Study
Record a lecture and get notes back. Ask questions about your own files. Turn any of it into flashcards, quizzes, and games. Every class gets its own Locker to keep it in.
See About My Locker, or Explore to use what other students already made.
Get something out of it
Turning work in on time and studying well earns coins for Campy, your study pet. Spend them on clothes for Campy and things for the Cabin.
See Meet Campy.
Small extras
Trinkets you can switch on or off — study playlists, work and break timers, breathing breaks, and motivation quotes.
What it costs
Free to start. Pro is $19 a month or $119 a year and removes the limits, with a 7-day free trial. See Free vs Pro.
Get started
Install BetterCampus, sign in to your school platform like normal, and it starts working on its own. See Download on Chrome.
