Delete your BetterCampus account
If you're ready to leave BetterCampus, this guide explains how account deletion works and what to do before you delete.
Before you delete
Once your account is deleted, your data is removed and can't be recovered. Take these steps first:
If you have Pro: Cancel your subscription before deleting your account. This ensures you won't be charged again. Go to your profile, then Plan & billing, and cancel from there. You'll keep Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
Save your themes: Any custom themes you created will be lost. If you want to keep them, take screenshots or write down your color choices before deleting.
Export your notes and study sets: If you saved notes, flashcards, or study sets in BetterCampus, download or copy anything you want to keep.
How to delete your account
You can delete your account directly in BetterCampus settings, or by contacting support.
Sign in to your BetterCampus account.
Click your profile icon.
Go to Account settings.
Scroll to the bottom and select Delete account.
Confirm when prompted.
If you don't see a delete option, or if you run into issues, email [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my account" and we'll help you out.
What happens after you delete
Your account data (name, email, school details) is deleted within 30 days.
Your themes, notes, study sets, and saved content are removed.
If you had Pro, your subscription is canceled and you won't be charged again.
You can still use BetterCampus without an account for basic features like viewing community themes.
Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, we can't restore your themes, notes, or study sets. Make sure you've saved anything important before you delete.
