Change or reset your password

Depending on how you signed up for your BetterCampus account, the way to access or change your login is different.

How you signed up matters

When you created your BetterCampus account, you chose one of these sign-in methods:

  • Continue with Google — your password is managed by Google

  • Continue with Outlook — your password is managed by Microsoft

  • Continue with email — you sign in with a magic link, no password required

Google or Outlook sign-in

If you signed up with Google or Outlook, BetterCampus doesn't store your password — it's handled by that provider.

To change or reset your password:

  1. Go to your Google Account or Microsoft account settings

  2. Update your password there

  3. Sign in to BetterCampus with your new password

If you signed up with email, you don't have a password. Instead, you sign in using a magic link sent to your email.

To sign in with email

  1. Go to the BetterCampus sign-in page

  2. Click "Continue with email"

  3. Enter the email you used to sign up

  4. Check your inbox for a sign-in link from BetterCampus

  5. Click the link to automatically sign in

The magic link expires after a short time for security. If it's expired, just request a new one.

Didn't get the email?

If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes:

  • Check your spam or junk folder

  • Make sure you're using the same email you signed up with

  • Try again — sometimes email providers delay delivery

Don't remember which email you used?

Search all your email accounts for "bettercampus" — you'll find any messages we've sent you, which will show which email you signed up with.
