Add courses manually

If a class isn't in your school platform's course list, add it by hand on the Courses page in the BetterCampus app. Manual courses work like synced ones: tasks, notes, and grades all work the same.
Open the Courses page
The page is called Your courses. You can reach it three ways:

Add Courses from the empty home state
Sync options from the course page
Add a course
Select Add Course.
In the Add Course dialog, enter a Course name (for example, Intro to Psychology) and a Course code (for example, PSY 101). Both are required.
Save the course.
The fields won't let you save while a name or code is empty or invalid. Fix the field and the button turns back on.
Limits

At 50 courses, Add Course is disabled and the page reads: You've reached the limit of 50 courses. Delete one to add another. If you still hit the limit, the error is You can add up to 50 courses.
Add tasks
Each course has an Add Task control. Tasks you add land in your Planner and your to-do list like any other work.
Edit a course
Select the edit control on the course.
In Edit Course, change the name or code.
Select Save Changes.
The button shows Saving… while it works, and the dialog closes once the change is saved. Renaming a course or changing its code changes the course itself; any custom card styling you set for it stays as it is.
Delete a course
Deleting removes the course from every device, and there's no undo.
Select the delete control on the course.
Confirm with Delete.
The confirmation, Delete <course name>?, tells you exactly what you'll lose:
With tasks: deleting the course deletes all of its tasks too, on every device. The warning names how many tasks it will take with it.
With no tasks: it removes the course from every device.
Either way, you can't undo it. The course's tasks disappear from your Planner on every device, and notes that belonged to the course stay but no longer belong to any course.
If a change doesn't stick
If a request fails, you'll see Couldn't add that course., Couldn't save that course., or Couldn't delete that course. — the change didn't go through. Try again.
