About Explore
Updated 3 weeks ago
Explore is the public library of study material made by BetterCampus students. Browse what other people have built, filter down to your school or a specific class, and use anything you find.
Explore vs My Locker
These two are easy to mix up, so it's worth being clear.
My Locker | Explore | |
|---|---|---|
Whose material | Yours | Everyone's |
How it's organized | One Locker per class | Browsable and filterable |
What it's for | Keeping your own work in order | Finding work someone else already did |
My Locker does show a few suggestions from students at your school — see Materials from your school. Explore is the full library those suggestions are drawn from.
Narrowing it down
The whole library at once isn't useful. Filter it to what you need:
Your school — material made by students at your school, so it matches how your classes are actually taught
A class — everything made for one specific class
Everything — the full library, useful for common subjects where any good study set will do
You can also search if you know what you're looking for.
Using what you find
Open anything to look through it before you commit. A study set from Explore works the same way as one you made yourself — flashcards, quizzes, and games all run on it. See About study sets.
Your own material is in here too
What you make is public by default, so your notes and study sets can show up in Explore for other students. You can set anything to private — see Who can see your materials.
Check it before you trust it
Everything in Explore was made by a student, not a teacher. Quality varies, and a set built for one teacher's version of a class may not match yours. Use it as a head start and check anything important against your own notes.
