How to access your notes
Open BetterCampus from the extension icon in your browser while on any Canvas page. Your notes appear in the notes section, organized by course.
Note size limits
The amount of notes you can store depends on your plan:

How it works
Start a recording from the notes section during class
BetterCampus captures the audio and transcribes it
Review your transcript afterward and edit it like any other note
On the Free plan, you can record up to 50 minutes per class. If your lecture runs longer, you'll need to start a new recording or upgrade to Pro for 4-hour sessions.
Smart Notes (Pro only)
Smart Notes uses AI to clean up messy or disorganized notes. It can fix grammar, restructure bullet points, and make your notes easier to read.
Free: 0 rewrites per month
Pro: Unlimited rewrites
To use Smart Notes, open any note and look for the Smart Notes option. Select how you want to clean it up, and BetterCampus will generate an improved version you can save or edit further.
Troubleshooting
I can't create a new note
My transcription didn't work
Make sure you have transcription time left this month (150 minutes on Free, unlimited on Pro). Also check that your microphone permissions allow BetterCampus to capture audio.
I can't find my old audio recordings
On the Free plan, only your last 4 audio recordings are saved. Older recordings are automatically deleted. Upgrade to Pro to keep unlimited audio history.
