I can't sign in

There are two different logins here, and the fix depends on which one is failing. Your school login is run by your school. Your BetterCampus account is separate, and you only need it for things like the Planner, AI study tools, and grade tracking.

Can't sign in to your school platform

BetterCampus doesn't handle this login — your school does.

You're at the wrong address

Every school has its own address, like yourschool.instructure.com or canvas.yourschool.edu. The guide for your platform lists the usual patterns — see BetterCampus on Canvas and the other platform guides.

Your school details aren't working

• Use the same username and password you use for your school email and portal — there's no separate password for your school platform.

• Reset your password through your school's IT portal, not through the platform itself.

• If you're locked out, contact your school's IT help desk.

Your school platform is down

If your login worked yesterday and doesn't today, check your school's status page or IT announcements, then try again in a few minutes.

Can't sign in to BetterCampus

You don't remember which email you used

Search your email accounts for "bettercampus". Any welcome message or receipt will show which address you signed up with.

You can't get into that email anymore

Make a new BetterCampus account with an email you can access. It takes about a minute.

Your magic link isn't working

If you signed up with an email address, you sign in with a link instead of a password.

• Click the most recent link — older ones stop working.

• Check your spam folder.

• Request a new link from the sign-in page.

You never made an account

You can use BetterCampus without one. Themes and the basic to-do list work straight away. The Planner, AI study tools, and grade tracking need a free account — look for the sign-up prompt in the BetterCampus sidebar.
