Turn lectures into notes
Updated 3 weeks ago
Record a lecture and BetterCampus turns the audio into notes you can edit like any other note.
Before you record
The transcript gets written into a note, so open the Notes page and select an existing note or make a new one. Transcription won't start without one.
Record a lecture
Open the Notes page and select the note you want the transcript to go in.
Click Transcribe.
Click Start Recording.
Allow microphone access when your browser asks. Recording starts right after.
Click Stop when the lecture ends.
The audio takes a moment to finish processing, then the transcript appears in your note. Edit it like anything else you've written.
Check your school's rules before recording a class. Some teachers and some schools require permission first.
Recording limits
Free | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
Per month | 150 minutes | Unlimited |
Per class | 50 minutes | 4 hours |
Saved recordings | Last 4 | Unlimited |
If a lecture runs past your per-class limit, recording stops. Start a new one, or see Free vs Pro.
