Check the file size first. Free uploads are capped at 5 MB, Pro at 25 MB. Free sets also hold 10 files each, so you may need to remove one. PDFs and common document formats work best.
About study sets

A study set holds the terms and questions for one class. Build the set, then review it with flashcards, quizzes, and games as many times as you want.
Study sets live in My Locker
Every class has its own Locker, and your study sets for that class live inside it.
Create a study set
Open My Locker.
Click Create Study Set.
Pick the class the set is for, then confirm.
Your new set appears in that class's Locker. You can make as many sets as you want on any plan.
Add terms and questions
The terms and questions in a set are called items. There are two ways to make them.
Type them in yourself
Open the set and add a term and its definition. Add as many as you want — this is unlimited on every plan.
Let AI make them
Open the set, click Upload files, and pick a file. BetterCampus reads it and turns it into items. On the Free plan you can do this 3 times a month. Pro is unlimited.
Study your set
Once your set has items, you can review it three ways. Practicing is unlimited on every plan.
Flashcards — flip cards to reveal the answer
Quizzes — test yourself on questions built from your set

My file won't upload
I ran out of AI items this month
Free gives you 3 AI item generations a month. You can still type in terms yourself with no limit, and you can still practice everything you've already made. Pro removes the cap.
