BetterCampus 8.5.3 fixes task persistence issues, improves planner and study tools, and resolves several navigation and layout problems.

Task reliability

Tasks now stay completed or deleted—no more reappearing after you mark them done:

• Completed tasks no longer resurface as overdue

• Custom tasks no longer duplicate on every dashboard reload

• Personal assignments stay deleted instead of multiplying

Planner improvements

Creating tasks is easier and more reliable:

• Add Task button now opens correctly when clicked

• New Add Task entry point at the bottom of your task list—useful for planning ahead or adding placeholder items

Dashboard and navigation

• Clicking the pencil icon on a dashboard card now opens the correct class instead of an old course view

• Sidebar no longer overlaps Canvas content, buttons, or native navigation

Study fixes

• Generated quiz answers are no longer all identical—each option is now properly distinct

Theme fixes

• Dark mode toggle works reliably—turn it on or off without getting stuck

Behind the scenes

• Improved sync and storage handling for more reliable data persistence

• Better calendar settings and sync presentation
