BetterCampus 8.5.2 adds new widgets for notes and GPA, a notifications hub, and fixes for planner, grades, and billing issues.
New widgets
Two new widgets give you quicker access to your most-used features:
Notes widget — Take quick notes without navigating away from your current view
GPA widget — See your GPA at a glance right from the dashboard
Notifications hub
A new notifications hub brings all your reminders and alerts into one place. Easier to check, easier to manage.
Planner and tasks
Several fixes make the planner and task list work more reliably:
To-do list now works correctly when your dashboard is set to list view
Planner sections are now scrollable so you can see all planned areas
Task due-date reminders are now properly gated based on your plan
Grades and GPA
Grades and GPA got attention in this release:
GPA history now saves correctly
The What-if grade feature is now properly gated for paid plans—free users won't see it persist unexpectedly in class popups
A pencil icon now appears next to your target GPA when setting a goal, making it clearer how to edit
Study improvements
Quiz generation no longer gets stuck at 94%
Study URLs now update correctly when you create a new study set
Small improvements to the quiz experience throughout
Notifications and reminders
Reminders are clearer and notification settings have been reorganized:
Reminder text now shows Due tomorrow, 12:30am (in 3 hrs) instead of separate lines—easier to read at a glance
Notification defaults and settings have been cleaned up for consistency
Preferences structure has been reorganized for easier navigation
Tour improvements
Product tours are shorter and more consistent:
Tour text has been simplified so you can get started faster
Page tours now have steps in the bottom left and the CTA in the bottom right—matching the main tour layout
Account and signup
The birthday screen UI has been improved and consolidated with the signup flow
After paying via Stripe link, your trial now appears immediately—no need to log out and back in
Bug reporting
The Report a bug tool received small fixes for better positioning and clearer error messages.
Smaller fixes
Sticky notes are now available as a standalone feature
Sidebar button displays correctly for users under 13
The sync icon in tooltips now matches the one used in the to-do list
Feedback links now point to Discord
URL parameters for notes and study pages have been cleaned up

Analytics tracking improvements for better reliability
Email suppression handling to prevent sending to addresses that have bounced or marked messages as spam
