BetterCampus 8.0.1 is a patch release with fixes for theme migration, course sync, sidebar visibility, and onboarding flows.

Theme migration and preservation

• Existing themes are now preserved when migrating from older versions of BetterCampus or BetterCanvas to 8.0.1

• Theme button on the home page improved for easier access

• Theme UI polished for a cleaner experience

Course sync

• New courses now sync correctly to the rest of the tool

Sidebar fixes

• Active tab text is now visible in the collapsed sidebar

Card and overlay improvements

• Card color and overlay controls are now more intuitive to use

Account and onboarding

• Continue without account button now works correctly for users under 13

Behind the scenes

• Message listeners in the navigator now clean up properly—no more duplicated actions after opening or closing
