Preview shows you the theme. Swap applies it. If you closed the preview without swapping, your old theme is still on.
Swap your theme

Swapping is how you change the look of your school platform. Browse the themes other students have made, preview one to see it on your own pages, then swap to it. Swapping is unlimited on every plan.
Open the theme browser
Click the BetterCampus icon in your browser toolbar.
Click the Themes tab.
Choose Community for themes other students made, or My themes for the ones you saved, made, or liked.
Preview before you swap
Clicking a theme previews it. You see it on your own pages, with your own classes, before you commit to anything.
Previewing doesn't change your theme. If you don't like it, back out and keep browsing.
Swap to it
When you find one you want, click Swap. That's the step that actually applies it.
This trips people up: a theme you previewed and walked away from was never applied. If your look didn't change, you probably previewed without swapping.
Finding something you like
Search if you know what you want. Otherwise sort by:
Popular — what most students use
Trending — what's being picked up right now
New — fresh uploads
Liked — themes you've liked before
If your new theme isn't showing
Check you clicked Swap, not just preview
Refresh the page
BetterCampus applies your theme when the page loads, so refresh your school platform to see the change.
Check that BetterCampus is turned on
Click the puzzle piece icon in your toolbar, find BetterCampus, and make sure it's enabled.
