Grade trends

Trends show how your grades have moved over time, across all your classes. A single grade tells you where you are. A trend tells you which way you're going.

What it shows

Your grade in each class plotted over the term, so you can compare them side by side. A class quietly sliding from a B+ to a B− looks the same as a steady B if you only ever check the current number.

What to look for

• A class heading down — worth catching before the final rather than after

• A sharp drop — usually one missed assignment, and usually fixable

• A class that's flat when you expected it to climb — the work you're putting in isn't landing where you thought
